Established in 1922, Cunshang Elementary School in Dacun Township, Changhua County, stands as a beacon of education with a proud history that spans over a century. Currently home to approximately 339 eager learners, our institution reflects a blend of rich tradition and innovative learning methodologies.

Special Courses and Notable Achievements

Cunshang Elementary is known for offering diverse, free specialty courses to its students. Our ocarina and taiko drum courses, in particular, have garnered much attention. The school boasts top-tier ocarina and taiko drum teams that have consistently impressed audiences, receiving accolades and performance invitations from various sectors.

Beyond music, we have made notable strides in academic areas as well. Our commitment to promoting reading and bilingual education has borne fruit, with our campus being recognized for its excellent reading initiatives. A special corner of our school has become a renowned reading spot, gaining attention for its inviting ambiance and vast collection. 

Recent years have seen our school scaling greater heights. Our students' and teachers' hard work has been acknowledged at various platforms. A testament to this is the prestigious Platinum Award we received at the Cyberfair Competition, along with the recognition of being an outstanding school for promoting reading in Changhua County.

Tsunshang Elementary School’s First Stargazing Night

On February 3, Tsunshang Elementary School held its first stargazing event. Even though it was a cold night, students, parents, and teachers joined to explore the night sky.

Inside the classroom, animated projections showed how the stars change in different seasons, making it a fun and interesting lesson. Later, when the moon appeared, Principal Wu Bing-Lian set up a telescope to get a closer look. But the moon quickly hid behind the clouds, so everyone used the telescope to look at distant objects instead.

Even in the cold, everyone had a great time. Many are excited for another stargazing night in the summer!
